For the "Serious" Ball Player!The purpose of the Doyle Winter Session is to provide the serious baseball player with professional and intense skill instruction while challenging his ultimate playing potential.
Designed for players ages 8-18.Session 1: Dec 20 - 23
Session 2: Dec 26 - 31
Each player will receive specific positional skill instruction, situational defensive work, as well as intense offensive training to help him prepare for the upcoming season.

Our FacilitiesAll Doyle training sessions (July, December and February sessions) are held at Tigertown, Home of the Detroit Tigers Spring Training Camp or Lake Bonny Park (March sessions) both located in Lakeland, Florida. Tigertown is a state-of-the-art 7,100 seat facility with drop down batting cages and enough space for three full infields, dormitory, cafeteria and indoor training facility. Tigertown is among the premier baseball facilities in Florida.
Doyle StaffCoach Denny and Blake Doyle have assembled a veteran group of coaches and counselors experienced in baseball instruction dedicated to helping every player reach their full potential by become a better baseball player. The Doyle staff combines over 60 years of baseball experience and knowledge with the enthusiasm and desire to personally work with every player.

The 2008 Doyle Winter training sessions will be held in Lakeland, Florida - Tigertown Complex - Spring Training Home of the Detroit Tigers. The complex is located between Tampa and Orlando.
What you should know
- Upon enrollment you will receive a list of the recommended clothing to bring.
- Dorm rooms for Live In players at Tigertown
- Airport pickup and drop-off is available from Orlando airport ($100 round trip, $50 one-way).

Winter Training Sessions Includes: 
Physical
- Comprehensive evaluation of your skills, strength, endurance, speed, power, agility, bat speed, throwing velocity, aerobic capacity, body composition
- Step-by-step planned program to meet daily goals in baseball skills of hitting, fielding, throwing, situational and positional play.
Mental
- Newly acquired skills must be continuously reinforced to become effective habits.
Emotional
Handling success and failure is very important to future performance. Successful players build upon their successes and learn from their failures. Doyle Baseball offers daily opportunities to instill and develop a strong approach to dealing with success and failure.
Training the athlete's mind to work hand-in-hand with the body is vital to achieving peak performance. The training program focuses on the athlete's mental approach in pre-game preparation, game execution, post-game performance review, individual workouts, and physical conditioning.
Baseball is a game of strong emotions. Players are taught how to channel their energy into a positive mindset to sustain maximum performance throughout any competition.

- A variety of activities provide players the opportunity to learn and exercise leadership and teamwork skills.
- Daily non-denomination Chapel sessions provide participants with motivation, inspiration and insight to help them make positive, thoughtful decisions in all aspects of life.
